I want to understand what legal setup might make sense for Zlato. Current plan: Zlato Finance has the option of becoming an Exempt Reporting Advisor (ERA), a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), or a Broker Dealer (BD). To increase speed-to-market, we will start off as an ERA and operate on a Fund of Funds model. Said differently, we will set up as a C Corp (and maybe have an LLC under it?) and spin up 3(c)(1) funds for each private equity investment opportunity that we offer.
